About Witchford Parish Council
Witchford Parish Council is the first tier of local government for the village and represents the interests of the local community.
Its responsibilities include managing and supporting village green spaces, play areas and allotments; caring for trees and verges; commenting on planning applications; supporting highways and footpath improvements; and providing grants to local organisations and community projects.
The Council also works with local volunteers and community groups to protect and improve Witchford’s environment. It has declared a climate emergency and supports action around biodiversity, tree planting, nature recovery and reducing the village’s environmental impact.
Parish Council meetings are open to the public, giving residents an opportunity to raise local issues directly with the Council.
